Story Thus Far
Bell actually can't remember where they were born, Ul'dah being the earliest they can remember and before, a muddled mess.As a newborn kit, they were taken in and raised by a lalafellen scholar who saw the hidden magic potential inside them as they
got older. But instead of taking to the books, Bell would run
back to the streets every time lesson began and so the mentor
gave up.Though the scholar did take Bell with her on their travels, if only to instill a sense of desire to learn from the world rather than tomes. And indeed did she instill a wandering lust that
could never be sated. Bell had never gone beyond Ul'dah and everything was a wonder.So Bell began taking odd guild jobs so they could set out on
their own to see more of the world. With their teacher's assistance they once again dove back into their studies, this
time pursuing an interest in alchemy, following a passion to improve themselves by way of beauty products and transformative potions.Eventually at the age of twenty-two, Bell departed for the wider world on their own. To learn about other cultures, meet people, and continue their ever growing interest in alchemy which has increased in their risk taking. This was around the time
Calamity befell the land. They never saw their teacher again.During those travels, Bell met with Mars who would soon become their protector and the type of person who would go to the ends
of Eorzea to ensure Bell's happiness and safety. It took some years but the viera developed a similar deep fondness in return and both have been inseparable since.Despite their shaky start and upbringing, Bell has maintained a unwavering front of optimism and desire to make friends,
